Frank sticks his neck out

I never write about politics in this blog. Never.

My agenda is marketing pure and simple. I write something entertaining, or anyway try. Then, when I've lulled you into acceptance, I slip in a promotional message.

That's why I don't get political. I don't want to stir you up.

So today, I'll try staying true to my purpose. It won't be easy.

Because I'm writing about Elon and Donald.

Is it the Buddy Movie Gone Wrong? Kids fighting in the sandbox? I'm gonna tell Mom what you did? Well then, what?

We're all on the edge of our chairs, of course. It's delicious.

The Germans have the perfect word for it: schadenfreude, which sort of translates as 'delight in the misfortunes of others.'

Does it matter? It could. Billions of dollars in Elon's businesses' federal contracts, pulled? Elon retaliating by stranding astronauts in the space station, 'You can't use my rocket, na nani poo poo'???

What about the $100 million Elon promised but hasn't yet delivered? Think that check'll get written?

And whence the bromance, Elon calling himself 'First Buddy' and Donald seeming to agree? Kaput with a tweet or two. (Seemingly. You never know with these two.)

I could go on but heck, so could you, so I'll stop already. There you have it.

No, actually, there you don't have it. This is just getting started. Kick back and make some popcorn.
